1st JHARKHAND ADVANCE ENDOSCOPY UPDATE –

National Workshop: 1st JHARKHAND ADVANCE ENDOSCOPY UPDATE

On 27th and 28th June 2025, we organized a national workshop at Ranchi Sadar Hospital in collaboration with Orchid Medical Center. The aim was to introduce a new advanced technique to remove gallbladder stones without removing the gallbladder.

During the workshop, doctors from Jharkhand and other states learned about this innovative method. Live surgeries on five patients were shown to demonstrate the process clearly. This new technique will help patients recover faster, reduce complications, and avoid major surgery. We plan to start using it widely across Jharkhand within six months to a year.

Advances in Clinical Management of GERD and Chronic Constipation –

A Continuing Medical Education (CME) program was conducted to enhance medical awareness among healthcare professionals on the latest developments and clinical practices in the management of GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) and Chronic Constipation. The session focused on evidence-based diagnostic approaches, advancements in pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, and updated clinical guidelines. Emphasis was placed on personalized patient care, emerging therapies like prokinetics and neuromodulators, lifestyle modifications, and the role of endoscopic interventions. The CME provided an interactive platform for doctors to discuss case studies, share clinical experiences, and stay updated with evolving best practices in the management of these prevalent gastrointestinal disorders.

World Health Day –

Every April 7, we observe World Health Day by organizing awareness programs focused on overall health and well-being. Through educational sessions, expert talks, and interactive activities, we highlight the importance of preventive care, healthy lifestyles, and early detection. Our aim is to inspire individuals to take charge of their health and build healthier communities.

World Liver Day

We observe World Liver Day every April 19 to raise awareness about liver health. We conduct informative sessions, screenings, and discussions emphasizing liver care, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes. This day is dedicated to educating the public on protecting one of the body’s most vital organs and promoting early diagnosis of liver-related conditions.

World Kidney Day

Every second Thursday of March, we join the global community in observing World Kidney Day. Through awareness events, screenings, and health talks, we educate people about kidney function, common diseases, and prevention strategies. Our goal is to promote kidney health and encourage timely checkups to reduce the risk of chronic kidney conditions in the population.
